The Mission

The Institute of Mental Health Research in partnership with Arizona researchers and direct care providers, will support broad based, innovative mental health research.

The Vision

The vision of IMHR is to become a nationally recognized research institute in Arizona dedicated to advancing solutions to Arizona families in the areas of mental illnesses and well-being throughout the lifespan. Working with our scientists and clinical partners IMHR will integrate, align and increase research by:

• providing seed grants to promising scientists
• recruiting talented scientists to the State
• unlocking larger sources of funds for research
• partnering with clinicians to impact patients and their families through educational programs

Located in the Phoenix Area, the Institute has collaborated with, and provided grants to, scientists and clinicians at:
